This Privacy Policy explains how KRM Records, through its KRM Sound division (“KRM Sound,” “KRM,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, email, phone, or text messaging, request a quote, or work with us as a client, venue, partner, or visitor.

Information we collect

We may collect:

• Contact details you give us: name, email, phone/mobile number, mailing address, and organization or business name.
• Event and booking information related to live sound, event production, and related services, such as event date, venue, headcount, and the services you request in a quote or booking.
• Communications you send us by email, phone, text, or form, including messages with our assistant Jax.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited when you use our website (standard server and analytics logs).
• Payment and billing details needed to invoice or receive payment (processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide live sound, event production, and related services
• Prepare quotes, schedule events, and manage bookings
• Communicate with you about your quote, booking, or event (including by phone, email, and text when you have opted in)
• Send invoices, receipts, and account notices
• Improve our website and services
• Comply with law and protect our rights and security

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text Messaging (SMS)

When you opt in to text messages from KRM Sound, we use your mobile number only for work-related conversations about your quote, booking, and event. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Consent. You opt in by checking the text-message box on our quote form, by texting us first, or by written consent (for example by email or in a booking agreement). We only text people who have opted in. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

What we collect and how we use it. For text messaging we collect your mobile number, your name, and the messages you send us. We use them only to reply to you and to communicate with you about your quote, booking, or event with KRM Sound.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, and you will receive one confirmation text and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or email info@krmsound.com. See our Text Messaging Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing and processors

We share information only as needed to run the business, for example with:

• Service providers who help us host email, websites, cloud storage, payments, phone/SMS (including Twilio), and accounting
• Engineers, artists, venues, or partners you ask us to work with on an event
• Professionals such as lawyers or accountants, when required
• Authorities when the law requires it

Those providers may only use the information to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately.

Retention

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, for contracts and tax records, and as required by law. You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.

Your choices

• Opt out of SMS anytime by replying STOP
• Email info@krmsound.com to update or correct your contact details, or to ask what information we hold about you
• Unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in those emails (we do not use SMS for marketing)

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third-party sites

Our site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
